SidekickHealth is the winner of the eHealth Award 2020
SidekickHealth was awarded this year's eHealth Award at the Vitalis conference this morning. The eHealth Award is an annual award to Nordic small businesses that have an innovative eHealth solution or product that has shown benefits for patients, citizens, healthcare professionals or healthcare organisations.
SidekickHealth, part of Sahlgrenska Science Parks community, delivers clinical treatments digitally and create custom, gamified digital therapeutic solutions across multiple therapy areas.
The company ended up as a winner after having been one of three finalists together with Boneprox and Cuviva, also part of Sahlgrenska Science Park community.
“The winners of the 2020 eHealth Award have risen above the competition by successfully addressing the challenging area of effecting behavioral changes in a playful, engaging and very real way … It has a huge potential for enhancing treatment compliance, nudging healthy behaviors and promoting preventive lifestyles for all,” the eHealth jury said in a statement about Sidekick’s win.
SidekickHealth will receive SEK 50 000 in prize money, 10 hours of publicity work provided by Miltton Group, speaking slot at relevant conference such as Cerner’s European Collaboration Forum in London 2021, and publicity in social media.
The eHealth Award is a cooperation between Vitalis, Sahlgrenska Science Park, HealthTech Nordic and Cerner.
