She catalyses high impact innovation across sectors
With more than ten years dedicated to leading high-impact and innovative projects within the welfare sector in Sweden, Josefin Klingvall is now taking on the role as Innovation Lead at Sahlgrenska Science Park, fostering collaborative projects between industry, academia and healthcare.
Through close collaboration with various organisations, she will facilitate innovation processes, as well as identifiy promising ideas, matching them with suitable collaboration partners.
“Sahlgrenska Science Park has a very interesting position in the life science ecosystem, being owned by five large public organisations and acting as a non-profit partner to both public and private organisations. I can’t think of a more perfect place to be to catalyse high impact innovation across sectors,” says Josefin Klingvall.
Her focus right now is to provide active support in initiating collaboration projects that are eagerly awaited and already have a clearly defined need ready for execution.
At the same time, it’s vital to leverage the insights gained from these cases to establish a robust process and structure for the project office. This will ensure comprehensive support at every step of the innovation process. And the long-term objective is clear:
“Ultimately, and as for everything we do, it’s to enable a prosperous life science sector here in western Sweden and beyond.”
