Healthtech impact at top 100-list of future unicorns
Almost every fifth company on Norrsken Foundation’s new list of 100 Nordic startups with an impact that makes the world better is part of HealthTech Nordic. Cuviva and SidekickHealth are examples from our environment.
According to Breakit, who was first with the news of the list of 100 startups that Norrsken thinks is the best in the Nordic region on “impact”, three winners will be crowned during Impact Week – a new event this autumn with a focus on networks, peppings and skills.
It is Klarna founder Niklas Adalberth who started the Norrsken Foundation Foundation (2016). The purpose of the business is to find and invest in companies that ultimately become an impact unicorn – a company that positively affects one billion people. Of course, there are many companies within healthtech.
Eighteen of the 100 companies on Norrskens impact list are part of the Nordic collaboration project HealthTech Nordic. Five companies in Western Sweden are included in the impact list: 1928 Diagnostics, Cellink, Cuviva, SidekickHealth and Visiba Care. There will be an opportunity to nominate startups that may have missed the Northern Lights, according to Breakit.
