Cecilia Edebo appointed CEO of Sahlgrenska Science Park
Sahlgrenska Science Park is pleased to announce that Cecilia Edebo has been appointed as CEO. Starting early next year, Cecilia’s mission will be to further develop Sahlgrenska Science Park as a leading catalyser of collaborative health innovation.
Cecilia is currently CEO at Cellink, a global market leader in 3D bioprinting and part of BICO AB. She has extensive experience within life science, having held several leading positions as CEO, COO and Vice President Sales & Marketing within Essity across Europe, US and Asia. Cecilia also has experience as a management consultant in both the public and private sector.
With a family background in medicine and biochemistry Cecilia chose a career in international business with the mission to contribute to improving healthcare across the globe. Cecilia brings extensive experience of both entrepreneurship and innovation within life science from startup and large companies, as well as an extensive network of scientific and business collaboration partners.
Sahlgrenska Science Park catalyses collaboration opportunities and cross-sector projects between industry, healthcare, and academia. It also develops environments for companies to interact in close proximity to universities and hospitals. The CO-AX Accelerator develops and supports tech-driven and innovative growth companies addressing global health challenges. In collaboration with Nordic and international partners and projects, CO-AX facilitates growth opportunities and access to markets and funding.

Cecilia Edebo will start in her new role in early 2024.
